Recently, four experts from Zhongzhi (Beijing) Certification Co., Ltd carried out the second re-certification of intellectual property management system (IPMS) to Xingtai Steel. The audit Criteria are Enterprise Intellectual Property Management GB/T29490-2013, intellectual property documents, as well as other applicable laws and documents.
The experts gave a very high evaluation on the management of intellectual property. They believed that Xingtai Steel made a great progress on intellectual property management after certification in 2014 and the management level of intellectual property had been improved. During the audit, no non-conformance term was found, and certification was passed.
Xingtai Steel, as the only enterprise in Xingtai City, was selected into the pilot enterprises of the IP management standard in June 2012. In December 2013, Xingtai Steel was identified by the State Intellectual Property Office as one of the first batch of state-level IP competitive enterprises. In November 2014, Xingtai Steel passed the IP management system certification by Zhongzhi (Beijing) Certification Co., Ltd for the first time. Until now, our company got nearly 300 patents, as well as 73 provincial scientific and technological achievements. In August 2020, Xingtai Steel ranked 34th in the technical competitiveness ranking of world＇s iron＆Steel enterprises and ranked 27th in patent technical ability of world’s steel enterprises.
