These products achieved import substitution and continuously obtained subsidyfor import substitutes from Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.
Xingtai Steel equipped with RH refining furnace very early among the wire rod manufacturers in China. Other state-of-art technologies, including pretreatment of hot metal, continuous bloom casting andultrasonic flaw detection are also used. Now, our company can produce more than 3200 types of products which belongs to more than 600 grades of steel in 18 series.More than 40 types of products, like cold heading steel, spring steel, bearing steel and so on, are awarded Superior Quality Product in Metallurgical Industry and Gold Cup Prize of Metallurgy Products.The special steel for torsion bar independently developed by Xingtai Steel has successfully replaced Voestalpine’s products and is used in the production of torsion bar for car seat belt. It occupies more than 90% of the domestic high-end market share and is used in luxury models such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi;The special steel for sleeve developed by Xingtai Steel is used in the production of sleeve of automobile clutch and successfully replaced US Steel’s products;Steel SWRS82B for bridge’s suspension cables has been successfully applied to Nanxi Yangtze River Bridge, Cuntan Yangtze River Bridge, Qingshuihe Railway Bridge and other bridges, replacing Japanese products.
The bolt connections made of high strength weather resistant steel is successfully applied toBrahmaputra River Bridgethatis the first coating-free bridge in China, which fills the domestic blank in high strength weather resistant steel. Besides, Xingtai Steel also developed the production technology of high-end bearing steel wire.The composition control and performance indexes of the products fully meet the needs of high-end users, breaking the foreign technological monopoly and reaching the international leading level.
